Spain - Gran Canaria Full Round

Detailed design and construction of n.1 reinforcement placing carriage (Lg. 12m) and n.1 Full Round ø5000 for the hydroelectric power station located between the Chira and Soria dams.

TFI – Tunnels & Formworks International SCOPE: Design, supply, transport, assembly and commissioning of n.1 12-metre Full Round ø5000, consisting of 6 rings of 2 metres each, and n.1 12-metre rebar placement carriage comprising:

– 1 main support beam for moving the formwork, 1 17 kW electro-hydraulic unit, 14 hydraulic jacks, 1 hydraulic winch for longitudinal movement, 4 rollers on the beam and 1 cable reel with 24 m of cable

For the initial section of the tunnel, a 4-metre formwork unit was prepared with the same specifications as those described above for the construction of the 12-metre formwork.
