Caves of Gran Canaria

Detailed design and construction of a 20.6 m x 6 m self-supporting formwork and a 23.8 m x 6 m widening formwork for Grupo Cobra, intended for the construction of a cavern for the hydroelectric power plant between the Chira and Soria dams. 

TFI – Tunnels & Formworks International SUBJECT: Design, supply, transport, assembly, and commissioning of a self-supporting formwork system used for n. 9 jets.  

After the 9 pours, part of the formwork was dismantled to add all the additional components, in order to create a 3.2-meter extension for this new formwork, which was used for another 17 pours.
